So to end the “Do I Look Like A Gamer?” campaign for another year, we’re hosting an informative and entertaining livestream to connect current and future games talent, celebrate, and have honest conversations about the global video game landscape.

We’ll be looking at the future of gaming, bringing industry professionals and aspiring creatives from around the world to connect with the next generation of talent and discuss the important topics shaping the industry this year and beyond. We know it’s still a tough time, so we want to address that while still showing how we can all work together to make it better.

Here’s what you’ll get to experience during the Next 1UP End of Year Livestream…

1. Headline Interview: We’ll be talking with a prominent figure in the gaming industry to gain valuable insights from the standout lessons of 2025 and understand what future talent needs to know about what’s to come in games.
2. Industry Roundtables: Honest discussions looking at what we’ve learned from the past year in video games and what lies ahead. We’ll have two panels to explore industry insights alongside broader community issues – the good, the challenging, and everything in between.
3. Indie Game Showcase & Developer Interview: Throughout the livestream, we’ll feature exciting indie game projects. Nigel and Tazziii will present amazing games in progress live alongside interviews with developers. We’ll get to hear their creative journeys as well as seeing the games in action!
